Description
Blue Pearl Granite, quarried in Vestfold, Norway, is renowned for its consistent quality and striking, three-dimensional appearance. Extracted using modern quarrying equipment—even during harsh winter months—this granite delivers blocks that maintain fairly consistent size and color between shipments.
Its unique crystal structure produces a reflective, three-dimensional effect that adds depth and movement to each slab. Depending on the block, you may notice variations in color and veining, so it is strongly recommended to review a range of slabs before finalizing a selection to ensure satisfaction with the natural variation.
During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to fill any natural pits, fissures, or micro-cracks. This enhances the finish without affecting the granite’s durability, maintenance, or visual beauty. In rare cases, extremely small pits that cannot effectively retain resin may reopen during subsequent finishing stages; however, this does not compromise the stone’s overall quality or performance.
As with all natural stone products, periodic sealing is recommended to preserve the surface and extend its longevity.
