Description
Bordeaux Granite is a premium natural stone quarried from bedrock deposits in Brazil. It features a warm cream to ivory background accented by sweeping veins of gold, burgundy, gray, and charcoal, creating bold movement and rich visual depth. The dramatic veining gives the stone a marble-like elegance while maintaining the strength and durability of granite.
During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to fill natural pits and fissures, enhancing the finish without affecting the stone’s durability or beauty. Due to the flowing veining, slabs are often book-matched, allowing consecutive pieces to form a mirrored pattern for a cohesive installation.
As with all natural stone, periodic sealing is recommended to protect the surface and extend its longevity.
