Description
White Pearl Quartzite is a refined natural stone quarried in Brazil, featuring a creamy white background complemented by gray and taupe veining. Its marble-like appearance is paired with the strength and durability of quartzite, making it an excellent choice for kitchen countertops and high-traffic surfaces without the risk of etching.
Depending on the block, the veining may present as linear or sweeping movement, offering versatility in design and allowing for both subtle and more expressive installations. During fabrication, an epoxy resin is applied to fill natural pits and fissures, while slabs are typically book-matched to create a continuous, mirrored flow of pattern. A mesh backing is also applied for added stability during handling and installation.
As a quartzite with a more open structure, sealing with a penetrating sealer is recommended to ensure long-term protection and longevity.
