Description
Technically speaking, breccia sarda is a rock of metamorphic origin composed mainly of calcium carbonate; fossils of shells, corals and other organisms were subsequently included within the process of formation of the breccia sarda granite. The appearance that comes out is that of a beige marble with the presence of intrusions of darker shades. Coming from the quarries located on Mount Tuttavista in Orosei, breccia sarda granite, with its warm and welcoming tones ranging from beige to cream and hazelnut, is a very refined, elegant material and particularly suitable for homes with a classic and rustic style. In addition to its chromatic elegance, breccia sarda is a stone material with excellent physical and mechanical qualities: breccia sarda, in fact, due to its compactness and resistance is often used also in outdoor contexts.
